Ingredients
For the Wings:
- 1 kg chicken wings, split into flats and drumettes
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds, toasted
- 2 green onions, chopped for garnish
Honey Soy Marinade:
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp rice wine or mirin
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, minced
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp five-spice powder
Cooking Instructions
- Prepare Wings: Pat chicken wings dry and season with salt and pepper. Let stand for 15 minutes.
